The next-generation M-Class
In Bergen County, NJ, E-Class drivers can’t wait for the arrival of the 2012 M-Class in the fall. Why? Just a quick look and you’ll see various new tweaks. Its exterior lines have been smoothed out, and the M-Class now has a plush interior with a Command infotainment system. Not a bad start, but if you know anything about Mercedes, you’re certain there are more benefits to come.
The car’s handling got some improvements. The 2012 M-Class has a self-leveling Airmatic suspension system and an On & Off-road drivetrain package that gives the driver six transmission modes. Top it off with 4Matic all-wheel drive, and you’re looking at a vehicle capable of navigating anything.
Thinking about upgrading your used Mercedes? Bergen County drivers might be. The M-Class even offers different diesel engine choices to further entice drivers. Even AMG and Hybrid models are rumored to be coming, which would fully flesh out the M-Class model offering.
What’s the likelihood of those versions? Not bad, actually. Mercedes has these powertrain variants for its other model lines. So it’s not a total stretch to assume the automaker would provide similar offerings for potential M-Class buyers.
